Successful teams and businesses rely on members with excellent interpersonal communication skills to maintain positive relationships in all aspects of the business— and if the business is done internationally, it is done in English. Papago and Google Translate can only help you a little; you must improve your ability to speak about what is written. With the rise of generative AI tools (Like ChatGPT), it's even more important to have strong human-to-human skills to help keep business relationships strong. Communicating effectively face-to-face in business is an essential skill we sometimes take for granted because we have spoken conversations daily. Many believe they already know how to communicate, but practice and experience reveal that this is not the case, and situations and conflict mitigation could be improved with better skills. This class is to practice these skills.
